Gallery: From parties to slumber parties, ‘Boomshaka: After Hours’ explores different ways to drum and dance the night away

Boomshaka’s 28th annual Spring Show, “BOOMSHAKA: after hours,” took place Friday and Saturday night at Shanley Pavilion.

“Blast From the Past!” took a group of Boomshaka members back to 2011. They used boomwhackers to play a mashup of 2011 hits including “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” “The Edge of Glory,” “Party Rock Anthem” and “Give Me Everything.” (Christina Lin/The Daily Northwestern)
